24 TRAILER PREVIEW FOR SEASON 6

October 25th 2006 00:05

Season 6 is coming.

Well, my site has been down all day, and I really wanted to put this up earlier. I guess now is better than never.

FOX has a website dedicated to showing the new 24 trailer. 24 is slated to premiere next year with a 4 hour, 2 day preimere on Jan. 14th and 15th.

I for one can't wait. Anyone else a huge 24 fan out there? Please tell me your thoughts about thetrailer. I will reserve my thoughts for the discussion in the comments section. As not to spoile the trailer for anyone.

Great trailer. I don't even watch 24, and it made me want to tune in.

I'd love to hear your comments on my latest entry. It's kind of along a similar line to your TV is Evolving post.

Nina: You really should check 24 out. It's absolutley the most exciting thing on TV still! And the best thing is that it's a serialized drama but you don't nessicarily have to have previous season knowledge of the show. It helps, but isn't required to get what's going on.

Try it out you won't be sorry.

That is just f***in' awesome! I'm a 24 addict too, Aaron. Damn, now I really can't wait for Day 6 to start. Looks like Bill Buchanan and Wayne Palmer are going to be more than just bit players.

Oh yeah, is it just me or does Chloe look, I don't know, hotter?

Rajin Cajun: Yeah it's going to be really great I can't wait.

Chloe hotter? Well, we'll see I'm not passing that judgement quite yet. If her crazy scowl is back I'll have to say no.

But, when they say "we'll have to sacrafice Jack Bauer" that scares me. Jack can't die. He's immortal.

What did you think abou that part?

You think they're talking about the Chinese there or the terrorists? I'm thinking "sacrifice" means a political move, not throwing him into the line of fire. So maybe they're gonna give him back to the Chinese in exchange for their help, I don't know. But knowing Jack (and Bill and the other CTU guys), they'll probably find a way to somehow screw the Chinese or whoever the hell wants Jack.

Ragin Cajun: You know I'm not sure what they're talking about. Because there was that scene where the terrorists had captured Jack.

What I'm thinking is that the terrorists in this season will be like a brother of other terrorists that Jack has killed in the past. And the only way to stop them is that they want Jack Bauer. So the Chinese give him up because they don't care if he dies or not.

But, then again, Kiefer is signed on to do another season if I remember correctly, so who knows what's going on.

Aaron, I'm not even sure what the nationalities of the new terrorists are, but you could be right. Aren't the Chinese going to give Jack back to CTU? At least that's what I thought when they showed him coming out of a cargo plane looking like Robinson Crusoe. If Kiefer has signed on to do another season, then I'm pretty sure they won't kill him off. Isn't there a 24 movie in the works, too?

Ragin Cajun: Well, by the looks of it it seems the terrorists are of middle eastern descent. It showed them a few times. It also does look like the Chinese are giving back Jack, I wanna know why.

Also, great point about 24 The Movie. Because yes there is one in the works. Slated for next summer if I'm not mistaken....I just IMDB'd it and it's coming out 2008. So, Jack Bauer has a little bit more time before he dies it seems

Heh, looks like your comments section is becoming like a dialogue between us two, Aaron. Maybe you should tell people they can butt in anytime.

If Jack dies, that's the end of the series. Jack Bauer is pretty much synonymous with 24. So fear not, I'm certain he's still got a long way to go. He's very hard to kill, as I'm sure terrorists know. Regarding the movie, I hope it's really in real-time. Imagine spending 24 straight hours in the cinema. Oh joy.

Ragin Cajun: It seems that not many people on Orble care much about 24.

Ragin I'm also writing a 24 specific blog for a company called 451 Press, if you wanna check it out...

Feel free to leave a comment or two.

I'm fine with this being just a dialouge between us. If you know any other 24 fans spread the word.

As for the movie it will not be in real-time, that's already been specified. It will be a day long, but only movie length. I'm curious to see what it's like. 24 hours in the cinema would be horrible though. Not because of the fact I'd be watching 24. I'd be watching it with rude movie-goers. I HATE THEM.

Checked out the other blog, Aaron. I'll probably be coming back to that as I'm too lazy to check for updates on my own.

Hmmm, I wonder how the format of the movie will be. If it's a movie length day, then nothing's going to distinguish it from other shoot-em-ups. Except for Jack, of course. As for rude movie goers... well, nobody really likes them. Of course, you could get all Chloe on their ass. That stare is just intimidating.

Ragin Cajun: I went to see The Prestiege the other night. And was appaulled at how many people showed up 5-10 minutes into the movie, talked while they walked in. Sat down, kept talking. I HAD TO SHHHHH PEOPLE! It was terrible. I hate being the SHHHH'er.

Yeah, well every season I wonder how are they going to do a new season of this show, and they manage to do it. I asked that at the end of last season and after I saw this trailer I have no doubt that this season will ROCK! So, that means I have complete faith that the movie will be like-wise amazing.

My sentiments exactly. The writers somehow always find a way to bring Jack back into the picture. I wonder how they'll do it this season, though. Won't be the same without Tony, Michelle, Edgar, and David Palmer.
