Happy Birthday to The Colbert Report

The Colbert Report

I just wanted to take this time out and wish The Colbert Report a happy one year anniversary!

That's right one year ago, on this very day The Colbert Report debuted as a spin off of The Daily Show.

The show has grown into one of the most recognized comedy talk shows on television. Stephen Colbert has really done an amazing job with his show. I for one am a huge fan, and will forever remember that he actually coined the word,

TRUTHINESS: a satirical term coined by Stephen Colbert in reference to the

Truthiness: The Word of the Century

quality by which a person claims to know something intuitively, instinctively, or "from the gut" without regard to evidence, logic, intellectual examination, or actual facts.

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY MR. COLBERT, AND HOPEFULLY MANY MORE TO COME!

Happy Birthday, Colbert Report! I absolutely love Stephen Colbert and this show, it's a shame it doesn't air here. Hopefully one day - until then, I guess I'll have to be content with YouTube.

Nina: You can always download it by Torrent if you know how to do that.

Or try comedycentral.com then go to the Colbert Report page and watch all the clips they have there.

Thanks for that. I didn't realise that the comedy central site had such a large selectin of videos. I can see myself spending a lot of time there.

American, through and through, though desperatley trying to claim Australianess, I love this show! I can't lie, I worried that the Daily Show wouldn't be quite the same without Colbert, but Jon Stewart remains equally as insightful and funny, and Colbert comes in a fills his time-slot like a pro! Happy Birthday
