Scrubs Season 7 return: My own worst enemy

Category: TV Week in Review
Last night saw the return of a multitude of TV shows, one which particularly sparked my interest was Scrubs, which returned for its Seventh season.
The episode returned to where it left us at the end of season six, with JD and Elliot about to kiss. But viewers were disappointed when this didn’t eventuate into anything. JD was surprised to find that she had walked way whilst he had his eyes closed in the moment.
But all was not lost for the two in this episode, when they both realised they were not in love with their partners. Elliot called off the wedding with Keith and JD realised he was only with Kim because he got her pregnant.
JD also came to realisation that he is a self saboteur, who sub consciously ruins his happiness in his relationships and life.
Another issue raised in the episode was with Dr Cox and Kelso. They were struggling to diagnose a patient, who they were determined to help due to his overly nice nature (even Kelso was in love with him). It was eventually discovered he had lime disease, but the new intern failed to find (an intern who is incredibly tiny, and has an even smaller voice).
But fans don’t be alarmed the episode still had that Scrubs humour as well. Turk was speculating the entire episode over which chocolate to eat, after Carla told him he can only have one bar a year, due to his diabetes. Turk eventually left it all up to chance and randomly pushed a button on the candy machine.
Overall the episode was a great reintroduction to the series and had a great mixture of seriousness and laughs to keep all Scrubs fans happy.
